Dundee University students and staff

We have a reciprocal agreement with Dundee University which allows all Dundee University staff and students to join our library free of charge. Dundee University members do not have access to our PCs or electronic resource. Access to  other than through Eduroam or the Cloud. To join:

  • You must have no outstanding debts at Dundee University library.
  • You should complete the Library membership form‌ and then apply for authorisation at an Enquiry Point at Dundee University Library, where you will need to complete a form with some personal details and have it authorised by staff there.
  • Bring your completed application to the Support Enquiry Zone (SEZ) on Level 1 of the Library, together with your Dundee University student or staff card. 

Students and staff from other local colleges and universities

We have reciprocal borrowing agreements with most other local education instutitions which allows staff and students to join the Library free of charge. Members of local education establishments do not have access to PCs or electronic resources, other than through Eduroam.

Membership agreements exist with:

  • St. Andrews University
  • Dundee and Angus College
  • Fife College
  • Perth College
  • Elmwood College

Staff and students from any of these institutions should complete the Library membership form and bring your student or staff ID to the Support Enquiry Zone (SEZ) on level 1 of the Library. Once we have verified your status and you have signed your application form you can usually borrrow straight away.
