Cited Reference Searching allows you to find out where key articles in your research area have been cited in more recent works. A useful way of finding out how ideas and research have developed over time. This service is available through the Web of Science.
The websites of professional bodies and organisations related to your area of research can be useful sources of up-to-date information. Many now offer a News section or Blog which highlight new developments.
